Library books are changed on Monday.
Please read this book to your child, stopping at various points to discuss what has happened and what they think might happen next. You could ask them their opinions about different aspects covered in the book, including asking them which their favourite character and why.
Independent reading books are changed on Friday.
Please allow your child to read to you daily, encouraging them to use "robot arms" and "blending hands" to decode unfamiliar words.
Please encourage your child to reread the sentence with fluency after decoding.
